Individual Therapy
Couples Therapy
Accelerated Resolution Therapy
The process is shorter than traditional therapy and is very effective in resolving trauma. The therapist guides the client through a series of eye movements that help to release the emotional impact of the trauma. The therapist also helps the client to reframe the event so that it no longer has the same emotional charge.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a type of cognitive-behavioral therapy that was developed by Marsha M. Linehan to help people with borderline personality disorder (BPD). It is a highly structured, skills-based therapy that focuses on helping people learn new coping mechanisms to manage their emotions and behaviors.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a form of therapy that deals with present-day challenges rather than delving into past history or childhood experiences. It is a structured approach that identifies specific goals and proposes techniques to help clients meet those goals in a short time frame.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Children (DBT-C)
DBT-C is specifically designed for pre-adolescents who have trouble regulating intense emotions and therefore tend to act impulsively, overreact to situations, resist change, think in absolutes, and lash out verbally or physically when they are emotionally overwhelmed.
Eye Movement Desensitize/Reprocess Therapy (EMDR)
EMDR therapy helps individuals recover from distressing life experiences that show up repetitively, as well as trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression and panic disorders. It is a successful, evidence-based treatment that helps to diminish the effects of these experiences.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy-Prolonged Exposure (DBT-PE)
In DBT-PE, clients initially work with the therapist to establish safety and gain the skills needed to cope with addressing trauma. While continuing in all modes of standard DBT, DBT-PE then addresses memories and beliefs related to the client’s trauma history.
Parent Child Interaction (PCIT) Therapy
Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS) Therapy
Gottman Method Couples Therapy
The Gottman Method is a form of couples therapy that was developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman based on over 40 years of research on what makes relationships work. It focuses on emotionally supportive communication and understanding each partner’s needs in order to foster a healthy relationship.
Imago Relationship Therapy (IRT) Therapy
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Therapy
SPACE Treatments
Designed specifically for parents, SPACE Treatment is a groundbreaking program that addresses anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and similar challenges in children. This program teaches parents how to stop accommodating anxiety-driven behaviors and provide supportive responses that foster independence and resilience.
Enneagram Coaching
Enneagram coaching helps you understand your personality patterns, recognize how they influence your decisions, and choose new approaches for lasting change. Whether you’re an individual looking for personal growth, a couple seeking deeper connection, or a team striving for better collaboration, Enneagram coaching provides the tools to transform your relationships and your life.
Emotional Fitness Program (EFP) Therapy
Family Therapy
Family therapy is a collaborative approach that explores familial interactions, patterns, and communication styles to identify and address underlying issues. Therapists work with families to improve understanding, empathy, and support, promoting healthier relationships and coping mechanisms. Through open dialogue and structured interventions, families learn to navigate conflicts, strengthen bonds, and cultivate resilience together.

FAQs
At our Bethesda office, we provide evidence-based therapy for children, teens, adults, couples, and families. Services include individual therapy, couples counseling, family therapy, and group programs. Our clinicians use structured, research-supported approaches such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and trauma-informed therapy. We focus on matching each client with a therapist who has strong experience in their specific area of need.
Clients come to our Bethesda location for support with concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, trauma and PTSD, relationship challenges, life transitions, emotional regulation, and self-esteem. We also work with individuals navigating grief, identity-related concerns, parenting challenges, and neurodivergence. During intake, we’ll confirm that we have clinical expertise in what you’re seeking support for before scheduling.
When you contact our Bethesda office, our intake team will learn more about your goals, preferences, schedule, and any specific approaches you’re interested in, such as DBT or EMDR. Based on this information, we’ll recommend a therapist who is a strong clinical and relational fit.
Our therapists are licensed mental health professionals with advanced graduate training and ongoing continuing education. Many have specialized certifications and advanced training in evidence-based modalities, trauma-informed care, and structured treatment models. We emphasize clinical excellence, ethical practice, and ongoing professional development.
Your first appointment is a chance to share what brings you in, discuss your goals, and begin developing a plan with your therapist. You’ll talk about your history, current challenges, and what you hope to get out of therapy. Together, you’ll outline next steps and a treatment approach that fits your needs.
To get started, you can submit a request through our website or contact our intake team directly. We’ll guide you through paperwork, scheduling, and payment details before your first session so you know what to expect.
