What we treat

Additional Modalities

At The Counseling Center Group, we believe that effective therapy is never one-size-fits-all. While many of our clinicians specialize in core evidence-based approaches, we also offer a variety of additional therapeutic modalities designed to meet the unique needs, goals, and preferences of each client.

The modalities below are available through one or more of our highly trained clinicians who have received specialized education, supervision, and experience in these evidence-based treatment approaches. Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, or personal growth, these therapeutic methods can be incorporated into your treatment plan to provide individualized, effective care.

Our goal is to match you with a therapist whose expertise aligns with your needs, ensuring that you receive treatment grounded in the latest research and tailored to help you achieve meaningful, lasting change.

Additional Modalities and Services:

The Counseling Center Group is a practice dedicated to providing professional counseling therapy services. Our skilled therapists bring many years of experience from a wide variety of specialty areas. It is our philosophy that many clients can benefit from specific tools and then use those tools in their everyday life. Therefore, we do our best to empower you to live your life without the need for prolonged therapy.

Emotional Fitness Program Therapy (EFP)

With a combination of psychotherapy and DBT skills work, the Emotion Fitness Program (EFP) is considered a lower-intensity alternative to DBT without the full commitment of the DBT program. EFP gives clients the space to explore current and past relationships, stresses, coping skills, and life satisfaction.

Exposure an Response Prevention (ERP)

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) helps individuals gradually face feared thoughts, situations, or triggers while resisting the urge to engage in compulsive or avoidance behaviors. Over time, ERP helps reduce anxiety, increase confidence, and teach the brain that distressing thoughts and feelings can be tolerated without relying on rituals or avoidance.

Imago Relationship Therapy (IRT)

IRT, or Imago relationship therapy, is a form of couples therapy that evaluates points of conflict in a relationship and reframes them as opportunities to understand, learn, heal, and grow. It is based on the idea that the conflict between two people can be a source of healing, and that resolving those conflicts can lead to deeper connection.

Grief Recovery Method

The Grief Recovery Method is an evidence-based program designed to help individuals process and resolve the emotional pain associated with loss. Through a structured series of action-oriented steps, participants learn how to address unfinished emotions, find healing, and move forward while honoring the significance of their loss.

SPACE Treatment

Designed specifically for parents, SPACE Treatment is a groundbreaking program that addresses anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and similar challenges in children. By helping parents respond differently to anxiety-driven behaviors, SPACE supports children in developing greater independence and coping skills over time.

Internal Family Systems

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is an approach that views the mind as a system of different parts, each with its own perspective, emotions, and role. Some parts work to protect us from pain, while others carry the burdens of difficult experiences. Through IFS therapy, individuals learn to better understand and connect with these parts,  fostering greater self-awareness.

Enneagram Coaching

Enneagram coaching helps you understand your personality patterns, recognize how they influence your decisions, and choose new approaches for lasting change.  Enneagram coaching provides the tools to transform your relationships and your life.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

EFT operates on the idea that the human body is like an electrical circuit with a constant flow of energy that can be disrupted by stressors. These disruptions lead to negative emotions and pain. EFT uses finger tapping on specific acupressure points while focusing on the problem to restore the body’s energy balance. The tapping is meant to release negative emotions and provide relief.
