Katie is a Licensed Associate Counselor who is passionate about helping clients foster healing, self-awareness, and personal growth through a compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental approach. She strives to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.
Her style is person-centered, authentic, trauma-informed, and strengths-based, drawing from approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy. Katie works with individuals experiencing anxiety, grief, emotional dysregulation, trauma, and major life transitions. In addition to individuals, she also works with couples to strengthen communication and enhance relationship satisfaction.
Katie values goal-oriented care, increasing self-compassion, and helping clients build resilience while creating meaningful change in their lives. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William & Mary and previously spent over a decade working in the entertainment and media industry, deepening her understanding of identity, performance pressure, relationships, and navigating change.
Outside of the therapy room, Katie enjoys yoga, traveling, theatre, long walks with her dog, and spending time with family and friends.
