Charlotte Karr, LMSW

Charlotte is a Licensed Master Social Worker based in Virginia. She works with individuals and families of all ages, with a special interest in supporting clients through life transitions and challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, social-emotional development, and complex family dynamics.

Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered. Charlotte is dedicated to creating a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences, begin healing, and foster meaningful personal growth.

She draws from a range of evidence-based modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed Care, and Mindfulness-based approaches. Charlotte honors each person’s lived experience and individual goals.

At the core of her work is a belief in the power of the therapeutic relationship. She strives to cultivate a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported. Her goal is to walk alongside clients as they rediscover their strengths, build healthier relationships, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and compassion.

Outside of her clinical work, Charlotte enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, going on walks, cooking, and exploring new places.
